It is not clear who killed Jain Godwin and her fiance in 1978. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C0:FCF6:4801:E8F1:D1B:B2C2:46E7 (talk) 09:00, 16 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Appropriate to call him Zimbabwean?

[edit]

I think it's a bit odd to call him Zimbabwean, and reference "his native Zimbabwe" when he was 23 years old by the time Zimbabwe was formed. At the time of his birth, the nation in which he was born was Southern Rhodesia, and for most of his formative years, it was Rhodesia. There is a discussion on this general topic at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Centralized_discussion/Country_of_birth but it seems to focus more on countries formerly in the USSR, and I'm not sure if WP:BLP has any particular guidelines for this. Thoughts? 100.16.5.65 (talk) 21:17, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
